Lahore/Shakargarh : A sit-in was staged in front of Punjab Assembly to record their protest against the Umrah scandal in which general public has lost sixty million rupees. Sit-in was staged for six hours under the headship of Shahid Khan, chairman of Aam Admi Welfare Foundation (AAWF). According to the resources CM has taken the notice of the protest but until now no concrete step has been taken against the culprits. Khan threatened to expand their level of protest if measures were not taken to fulfil the demands of affectees. He also pleaded to forward this case to National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
